BREAKING NEWS: Niger Delta Militant Leader escape prison

Charles Okah

According to Sahara Reporters, Okah who is the brother of Henry Okah escaped on Friday, June 25 by scaling the high fence of the prison walls, Charles Okah  has been on trial for the 2010 Independence Day bombing that killed 27 people during the country’s 50th independence anniversary. The escape happened around 7:30 pm and he reportedly jumped the prison walls with another inmate. Henry who is the senior Okah has since been convicted by a court in South Africa. MEND which used to be a notorious militancy group eventually accepted the federal government’s amnesty and stopped the destruction of pipelines and kidnap of oil workers. Okah infamously tried to commit suicide in court in 2015 after he addressed Justice Gabriel Kolawole and claimed that former president, Goodluck Jonathan was responsible for his travails. He had said: “I have been incarcerated for about five years now, and I have a family to cater for.‎ “My children would grow up without feeling the warmth of their father. ‎I am tired of this endless trial.” Earlier this year, Okah embarked on a hunger strike to protest against harassment by officials of the Kuje prison. In a letter through Timi Okponipere, his counsel, Okah had addressed the minister of interior, Abdulraman Dambazau informing him of the danger his death will pose to the whole country. “At the time of writing this letter, our client is as emaciated as a bean pole on account of the hunger strike he has embarked upon, to draw global attention to his plight.” “Literally and figuratively speaking, our client is virtually a dead man. If our client dies in prison custody, the entire world, particularly the Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta where our client hails from, shall rise in unison against President Muhammadu Buhari’s government, even as we concede the fact that, our client’s ordeal began during the tenure of former president Goodluck Jonathan, a fellow Ijaw,” More details on his escape soon.

Plead with Militants in the name of God Almighty to take it Easy – Pres. Buhari tells APC Leaders & Nigerians

Buhari Hosts APC Leaders to Dinner3
President Muhammadu Buhari has called on those “who have friends among the leadership or even the (Niger Delta) militants,” to talk to them to embrace peace instead of destroying oil facilities in the country, saying that we have no other country than Nigeria.
He said this when he hosted Party Leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to a breaking of Ramadan Fast dinner.
“I honestly don’t know how many factions the militants are in the Niger Delta compared to the North East where you have the Boko Haram
The technology being deployed by the militants to destroy oil installations is high-tech, the way they can go on high sea and international waters and target oil installations is a national problem. It is affecting development.
No insurance company will want to insure installations that will end up being blown up and no banks will want to finance such installations.
Those of you who have friends among the leadership or even the militants themselves should plead with them in the name of God ‎Almighty to take it easy.
We are in a very difficult time, so we have to organise ourselves. Anybody that says he has any other country than Nigeria should go out and see,” he said.

Rivers Govt denies withdrawing N11bn, tells EFCC to do with law

Read the state government's statement below...

The attention of the Rivers State Government has been drawn to a publication in The Punch newspaper of Friday, 24/06/ 2016. The report alleges that one “Mr Kinsgsely Fubara”, said to be a Director of Finance and Administration, in the Rivers State Government House, made repeated financial withdrawals from the Central Bank of Nigeria and Zenith Bank, to the tune of 11 billion Naira.
According to the report, the “suspicious withdrawals” on behalf of the Rivers State Government were made between December 2015 and February 2016.
The government categorically denies this fabricated and irresponsible publication by the Punch.
The Rivers State Government never conducted such financial transactions and the report is patently false.

The Rivers State Government has no record of any staff known as Kingsely Fubara. This must be a fictional character created by the All Progressives Congress (APC)) and the Punch newspaper to embarrass the State Government and deceive the public.

The Punch report also indicated that the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) has directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to probe these so-called withdrawals. Such a directive, if true, would be a manifestly illegal and ridiculous proposition.

By law, the Rivers State Government is accountable to the Rivers State House of Assembly and the people of Rivers State, not to the Attorney General of the Federation.
This is a totally fictitious report typically orchestrated by the APC and its media allies.
But the story raises fundamental questions about the moral horror that confronts a nation where an anti-graft agency becomes openly partisan in all its intentions and actions.

There is universal concern that the EFCC is playing an extremely corrosive role in the current political dispensation. Rather than fight corruption in a professional and dispassionate manner, the EFCC behaves shamelessly like an integral organ of the APC.
An anti-graft commission that targets only opposition politicians and critics of the failed policies of the APC government is a national embarrassment.

Has the EFCC ever heard of one Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, the former governor of Rivers State and current Minister of Transport? Despite receiving over three trillion Naira in eight years as governor, Amaechi left the most abandoned projects in the history of Rivers State, since 1967. Several petitions against Amaechi, supported by sworn affidavits, have all been summarily ignored by the EFCC.
Even chieftains of the APC have publicly acknowledged Rotimi Amaechi’s stupendous financial contributions to the party’s presidential campaign in 2015. These financial contributions, estimated to be in billions of Naira, constitute serious financial crime against the people of Rivers State.
The Government and people of Rivers State will resist any politically-motivated targeting of its leaders by any agency of the Federal Government, by whatever name it is called.
Signed:
Dr. Austin Tam-George,
Commissioner for Information and Communication,
Rivers State.

Senators tackle Buhari over Saraki, Ekweremadu ‘forgery’ charges

Senate Chamber
Senate House

The Senate, on Tuesday, summoned the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami to “explain and justify with evidence” the basis for the criminal charges of conspiracy and forgery against its presiding officers, Bukola Saraki and Ike Ekweremadu.
The resolution of the Senate, after an executive session that held for close to two hours, followed a motion by Dino Melaye (APC-Kogi West).
The federal government is accusing Messrs. Saraki and Ekweremadu as well as a former clerk to the National Assembly, Salisu Maikasuwa, and his deputy, Benedict Efeturi, of forging the Senate Rules used for the election of the presiding officers June 9, last year.
On Sunday, the Senate, in a statement through its spokesperson, Aliyu Sabi, said the Buhari administration was bent on forcing a leadership change in the Senate by, first, “muzzling the legislature and criminalizing legislative processes”.
This was reiterated by Mr. Melaye on Tuesday, in his presentation, when he alleged that the forgery suit amounted to “grand design to silence” the National Assembly by the Buhari Administration and “enthrone one man rule”.
He warned of “impending danger to democracy”, noting alleged “defiant decision” of Mr. Malami in disregard of Federal High Court ruling which he said had upheld the right of the Senate to regulate its internal affairs.
He said all the Senators were given the Standing Rules used for the June 9, 2015 election two days earlier and on June 10, 2015, the Senate passed votes and proceedings of the previous day.
By passing the votes and proceedings, Mr. Melaye said that meant the standing rules had been endorsed by the senators as valid and authentic.
“Our Rule is not fake,” he said.
While “creating crimes where there is none”, Mr. Melaye said the Buhari Administration was not paying attention to myriad of problems facing the country.
He said the same allegedly forged rules had been used for the screening of ministers, including the AGF, and for treating presidential communications, and for the passage of the 2016 budget.
In his contribution, Albert Bassey (PDP-Akwa Ibom) said “power comes from God. The emergence of Bukola Saraki is a reflection of the reasoning of the majority. It’s time to rise in defence of democracy.”
Peter Nwaoboshi (PDP-Delta State) said he was not sent to legislate by fear or be controlled by Executive. We never did that, adding that “there is an attempt to strangulate the legislature”.
“Enough is enough,” said Chukwuka Utazi (PDP-Enugu State). “Why should the internal affairs of the senate be worry of somebody outside?”
Isa Misau (APC-Bauchi Central) queried the process of the police investigation and the eventual prosecution.
Mr. Misau, a retired police officer, said the police had to invite both complainant and those against whom complaint is made before approaching court.
“I am sacred for Nigeria and the president. AGF is being sponsored by other group somewhere,” he said. “There’s is calculated attempt to derail this democracy. The interference we are getting is to bring down image of the president. Many things are happening. We must on the stand on the path of justice and truth.”
Kabir Gobir (Sokoto East) also said, “I totally and 100 per cent support this motion”.
He continued, “We should be allowed to choose our own leaders. If anybody is against what we did on June 9, that’s his own problem. The following day we approved the votes and proceeding which means we agreed with what we did.
In its resolutions, the Senate summoned Mr. Malami to justify the court action against its leaders, and if his action does not amount to gross abuse of office.
It also resolved that its Standing Rules was not fake or forged.
In his remarks after the resolutions were passed, Mr. Ekweremadu said, “I won’t say much because I am also involved. But let me say those who are using their offices to persecute others should remember no condition is permanent”.

Who is Linda Ikeji boyfriend

Unfortunately, Linda’s private life is not as bright and successful as her great career is. A couple years ago she told she was single. Linda said she was searching a decent, honest and supporting man, who would let her do what she liked to.
Linda said she wouldn't go on a date with a younger man but she could easily marry a man who earned less. And then suddenly she was spotted with a man much older than her. It was Dan Foster. He is a Black American radio celebrity. He came to live and work in Nigeria.

Linda and Dan

The fans were sad and disappointed. They thought their beloved celebrity deserves more. There were hundreds of rumors around this couple. Also there were plenty of haters and ‘dust’.
After breaking up, Dan gave a shocking interview opening all the secrets of their relationships. He told that Linda loved him very much. But he ‘took her for granted’. He dated two more girls at the same time. Dan didn’t appreciate her feelings much.

He said plenty of interesting and unexpected things. He said that Linda was a nice ‘kid’. He hopes Linda can find someone for her but she must find the right person. Because Ikeji is really into a business she is doing now. He said Linda was and is very honest. Dan thought he wasn’t good enough for her then.
‘I always asked her why me’ – he said. But Linda was really into him. And Dan couldn’t believe that. Unfortunately, he took her for granted. He thought she could easily find some fine model-guy on the runway. But Linda was so serious about Dan. She was in true love with him. But, unfortunately, in the end it didn’t work out. And the reason was - he took her for granted and he was dating other girls while he was dating her. Dan tried to have relationships in Abuja and in Warri while Linda was in Lagos. He said that it was a nightmare.

landa in pink

Dan insures that he doesn’t want to go through such situation again. He said he had three beautiful women at a time and then he lost them all. Because they all were waiting for his decision. Dan told that one of girls knew about all the rest ones. That girl could have become the only one. But he hurt her so badly. So the girl even had to leave the country after their breaking up.
Dan said he felt bad. But when he went to the local cinema to relax he met his wife. Now he is married and has children.
Linda’s fans still can’t believe that such girl is single. So they can't stop looking for the latest rumors about her private life. Linda has already got used to it.
Recently there were some interesting rumors about Linda’s plans about wedding. People said Linda was going to marry her beloved boyfriend. They said Linda was dating with him for about a year. The latest rumors said that the secret wedding was planned on 2016. And it’s going to take place in some countryside.

Linda never denies the rumors. She doesn’t say she is single or she is dating a guy. She keeps a secret.
However, a few months before people saw her on the vacation with one of her best friends. They know each other since her modeling period. Previously, she said that they were just friends. But now people saw something more in those pictures of them.

linda and friend

After her difficult relationship and breaking up with Dan, it’s not a surprise that she tries to hide her beloved person. It’s certain that Dan’s honest interview hurt her very much. So now it's possible that she is afraid to hear something like this from her new beloved guy.
In any case, Linda is looking for her true love not making ‘breaking news’ of it. This topic is too private for her. However, she likes to talk about other’s private life. You can often meet some rumors about other celebrities in her blog. That is why she has plenty of haters and enemies among them.

We wish Linda find her love! And whether these rumors about her friend are true, her fans will be happy about that! Because such successful lady must be successful in everything!

How To Make Money As A Blogger

When it comes to a lifestyle-friendly business, blogging appears to have it all. You get to work from home, focus on a topic of interest and share your creative talents. But can you really earn a living as a blogger? And if so, what’s the best way to get started?
To help answer those questions, I recently spent two days at BlogHer15, the world’s largest conference for women bloggers (and a few brave men). And I came away with some smart tips from the experts that can help prospective and current bloggers interested in making money from full-time or part-time work.
I went to BlogHer out of both a personal and a professional interest. I blog at Next Avenue and on my own site, MyLifestylecareer.com, which is about profiting from your passions in semi-retirement.
BlogHer Conferences Are Worth Checking Out
This year’s BlogHer event, held in New York City, featured successful bloggers including celebs such as Gwyneth Paltrow (founder of the popular Goop.com),  workshops on branding, social media and monetization and a whole lot of networking. BlogHer puts on one heck of a show and if you’re serious about learning more about blogging, I highly recommend you check out some of its upcoming conferences.
But now back to my initial question: Can you earn a living as a blogger?
Well, maybe.
But first, the bad news. According to the 2015 Women’s Blogging Industry and Business Annual Report — a survey of thousands of bloggers by iBlog magazine — very few bloggers earn much.

Why Donald Trump Is Flailing

The GOP primary left him ill-prepared for the scrutiny he’s finally getting

There is a widespread belief that Donald Trump is immune to criticism, that he’s the new Teflon Don. And the proof of his apparent invulnerability is his success against a field of Republican leading lights. By beating 16 other candidates for the party’s nomination, goes the argument, Trump demonstrated his singular strength as a political force. But this is a retcon.
Jamelle Bouie Jamelle Bouie

Look carefully at the Republican primaries and one fact sticks out: From the time Trump announced his campaign in July to the last stretch of the Iowa caucuses, Trump was untouched by his competitors. Yes, at debates and in forums, they criticized him for insufficient conservatism and bad manners but that was the extent of the pushback with few exceptions (which included juvenile mockery). On core questions of his persona and candidacy—his checkered business record, his shady relationships, his unscrupulous ventures—Republicans were silent. That meant Trump could run for the nomination without having to deal with, or answer, questions about the most embarrassing and controversial parts of his record. Republicans allowed Trump to sell himself as a master businessman, and that’s what he did.

The reality star and tabloid mainstay thrived in the primary’s fetid swamp where—without substantive attacks on his record or persona—he could suck attention from his competitors and avoid serious scrutiny. And it’s clear he expects to do the same in the general election, dominating daytime cable airwaves with outrageous statements and conspiratorial attacks—a campaign waged via greenroom and speed dial. But as Trump is learning, to his chagrin, the general is a different environment, and here—where the press has just two targets and he’s up against one campaign, not 16—the scrutiny and the pressure are much, much greater.

Indeed, the past few days have told us something important: Far from finding strength in the fight for the Republican nomination, Trump was ill-served by the dysfunction of it all. In escaping much of the close examination of a presidential primary, he has entered the general election ill-prepared for the most basic interactions between a candidate and the press.

He has entered the general election ill-prepared for the most basic interactions between a candidate and the press.

It’s how we got the spectacle of Tuesday, when an enraged Trump went on a rampage against journalists after some cursory scrutiny around his much-touted donations to veterans’ groups. A Washington Post report found major discrepancies; not only had Trump raised less than he’d claimed at his veterans’ fundraiser in January, he hadn’t made his promised $1 million donation either. If this were still the Republican primary—during which Trump was running against opponents who dared not touch him, for fear of alienating his supporters—he might have escaped the inevitable blowback that comes with stiffing veterans.

Instead, he had to deal with a press that was singularly focused on his actions as the Republican presidential nominee. Which makes sense: It’s exactly the scrutiny you receive when you reach this point in American politics. Trump couldn’t handle it. During the course of his news conference, he railed against the press corps as “not good people,” singled out ABC’s Tom Llamas as a “sleaze,” and mocked the looks of CNN’s Jim Acosta. “I think the political press is among the most dishonest people that I have ever met, I have to tell you,” he said. “I see the stories, and I see the way they’re couched.”

Trump threw a tantrum. And we’re sure to see it again. He isn’t just unaccustomed to the attention and scrutiny of the political press; he’s temperamentally unsuited to it as well. But this focus on his veterans’ activities is just the beginning.

The same day Trump fell apart in the face of some basic questioning over his charity, the public won access to unsealed documents in the real estate mogul’s legal battles over the now-defunct Trump University, a for-profit school started in 2005. The papers detail an organization that critics describe as predatory and fraudulent. “I believe that Trump University was a fraudulent scheme,” said one sales manager in his testimony, “and that it preyed upon the elderly and uneducated to separate them from their money.”

The papers are a gold mine of information that reveal the extent to which Trump lent his name and endorsement to operations designed for no purpose other than to extract wealth from ordinary people. Trump sold his university as a tool that would help everyday Americans improve their financial position, something that would “teach you better than the best business school.” His employee practices, however, told a story of rapaciousness: Trump University employees were pushed to sell expensive courses, upward of $35,000, to struggling customers in what sounds like a glorified telemarketing scheme. (You can almost imagine employees complaining “the leads are weak” to a Trump simulacrum screaming “always be closing.”)
