Arsenal star visits refugee camp in Jordan

After ending the seasons with Arsenal, playmaker Mesut Ozil visited a refugee camp in Jordan on Wednesday, May 20.

Before joining up with the Germany national team, Ozil was at the Zaatari Refugee Camp where he played football with the kids.
His visit was in partnership with the Asian Football Development Project (AFDP) which is aiming to use football to bring a degree of normality to the everyday lives of those in the area.

Accompanied with former FIFA presidential candidate, Prince Ali,  the 27-year-old was given a tour of the refugee camp which houses about 80,000 refugees from the brutal war in neighbouring Syria.

He also took part in a training session at an Amman stadium for Jordan's under-17 girls team competing in a World Cup for their age group.
